Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required (degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred). - Experience working with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or other special education needs — whether as a credentialed SPED teacher, paraprofessional, interventionist, or tutor. - Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and common accommodations (extended time, chunked instruction, multi-sensory approaches, etc.). - Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations. - Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online. - Ability to pass a background check. - Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace. Requirements - Active or previous teaching credential, especially in Special Education (preferred, not required). - Experience with specific methodologies such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading, or structured literacy (preferred, not required). - Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus (preferred, not required). - Flexible schedule — work when you want. - 100% remote. - Set your own hourly rate. - Consistent flow of students matched to your expertise. - Opportunity to make a real difference for students who need it most. Benefits - Fully remote — tutor from home on your own computer. - You set your schedule — choose your availability and update it anytime. - You set your hourly rate — and negotiate per job based on the scope of work. - Steady opportunities — with hundreds of new students signing up daily, we match jobs to your email based on the subjects and student populations you're best suited for. - Note: Many of our assignments operate in Pacific Time, so availability during PT hours is a plus.
