• Accurately and efficiently handling incoming contacts requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.) • Provide active travel consultation towards business customers, including travel details and upselling of related products • Provide exceptional service which exceeds client expectations • Manage and control all facets of travel arrangements, as requested by clients • Search and confirm travel reservations for customers • Hands-on involvement in crew movements, rotation, and disruption handling • Provide customers with required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, penalties, and visa information • Respond to customers promptly and provide undivided attention • Willingly offer assistance to team members within and across teams • Meet individual and team goals
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments
- Hands‑on expertise managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurately under pressure
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, 24/7 service environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi‑regional operations setup
- Relevant skills in GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated understanding of customer servicing excellence
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes

Role Description The Technical Advisor II – Emergency Response and Recovery Surge Support for East and Southern Africa (ESARO) is a field-oriented emergency response generalist who provides rapid deployment program quality, management, and leadership surge support to CRS country programs within ESARO during sudden-onset and protracted emergencies.
