Job Description

Senior Manager IT & Security

Multiplier Technologies Private Limited

Role Description As a Manager IT & Security you will be the operational backbone of Multiplier's IT and security function, owning the day-to-day execution of our security program, IT operations, and compliance posture across a distributed, remote-first workforce. You will be reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). - Own Multiplier's IT operations end-to-end: device lifecycle, MDM, identity and access management, onboarding/offboarding automation, and enterprise SaaS tooling for a distributed, remote-first workforce across 150+ countries. - Build and mature our security program from the ground up: define policies, own our compliance posture across SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO 27001, lead audits, and establish controls that scale with the business without slowing it down. - Identify and eliminate manual toil in IT operations by building automation, runbooks, and SOPs. You'll be running a lean function and tooling is how you scale. - Actively leverage AI tools to improve how IT and security operations run from workflow automation to threat detection to policy drafting. We expect AI to be a core part of how you work, not an afterthought. - Partner with Engineering, People, Legal, and Finance to embed security and IT best practices into how we build, hire, and operate. Security as an enabler, not a gate. - Own vendor relationships, license audits, and tool consolidation. Cost-conscious decisions backed by data. - Define and track operational metrics for IT and security health, surfacing risk clearly to leadership before it becomes an incident. Qualifications - 10+ years of IT and security experience, with at least 2 years owning IT and security operations at SaaS startup of 100–500 people. - You've built IT operations infrastructure from scratch — not inherited a mature setup from a large org. You know what "figure it out with limited resources" feels like and you thrive in it. - Hands-on experience with cloud-first tooling: JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and a modern SaaS security stack. - Solid working knowledge of compliance frameworks — SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO 27001. You've been through at least one audit cycle and know what evidence collection, continuous compliance, and cross-functional coordination actually look like in practice. - Demonstrably uses AI tools in daily work — whether for automation, analysis, drafting, or operations. This is not a nice-to-have. - Strong process instinct: you write runbooks, build SOPs, and leave systems better than you found them. - Clear communicator who can translate security risk into business language for a non-technical leadership audience.
