Project Engineer III
CHA Consulting, Inc.
• Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports for electric transmission projects, including overhead and underground transmission systems and related assessments • Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership • Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard procedures and best practices that support grid reliability, safety, and system performance • Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve operational issues and minimize delays on critical electric transmission initiatives • Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments associated with transmission assets
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings
- Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards
- Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office

• Implement language and multimodal model inference as part of NVIDIA Inference Microservices (NIMs). • Contribute new features, fix bugs and deliver production code to TRT-LLM, NVIDIA’s open-source inference serving library. • Profile and analyze bottlenecks across the full inference stack to push the boundaries of inference performance. • Benchmark state-of-the-art offerings in various DL models inference and perform competitive analysis for NVIDIA SW/HW stack. • Collaborate heavily with other SW/HW co-design teams to enable the creation of the next generation of AI-powered services.
• Build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines in collaboration with more experienced data engineers. • Assist with data modeling (raw, processed, and consumable layers). • Monitor data loads and respond to data incidents. • Support documentation of the data team's processes and best practices. • Collaborate with analysts and product and engineering teams to understand data requirements.
