Job Title: Export Artist Strategy Manager, APAC A little bit about our team: The APAC Artist Strategy team is a supporting force behind APAC’s evolution from a collection of markets into a true global career accelerator for artists. Our team exists in a de-centralised manner with team members across Australia, Hong-Kong, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, China and Singapore. We exist to design and deliver multi territory artist strategies — shaping how emerging import artists can have APAC-first thinking embedded, and how APAC export artists can build meaningful, scalable careers out of one of the world’s most complex and culturally rich music regions. We bring together insight, creativity, and execution to turn early momentum into long-term growth. Our mandate spans the full spectrum of artist development. We partner with global repertoire owners, regional leadership, and local marketing teams to influence strategy earlier, unlock cross-market opportunity, and ensure APAC isn’t just responding to global plans or — but actively shaping them. At the same time, we build the infrastructure, frameworks, and specialist services that enable APAC-signed artists to grow consumption beyond their home markets and step confidently onto the global stage. We are strategists, connectors, advocates, innovators, and specialists. We combine deep local knowledge with regional scale, transforming cultural complexity into competitive advantage — and positioning APAC as a starting point, not an endpoint, for global artist careers Your role: In this role, you will act as a vital strategic bridge between local repertoire and global audiences, partnering with local label leads to help translate their vision for international markets. From tracking 'market sparks' to identifying which creative assets will resonate across diverse territories, you will be the key specialist who knows how to adapt a home-market success story for a completely different cultural context. This position offers an incredible opportunity to hone your project management skills and commercial acumen within a dynamic regional framework. Whether you’re working on an Anglo indie act or a Punjabi rapper, you will absorb the nuances of any sound and collaborate with specialised teams to deliver results. You will act as a central source of truth, ensuring that assets, campaign budgets, and communication flow seamlessly between local labels and global territories as we build the practical infrastructure to scale the next generation of APAC talent. Here you’ll get to: - You will coordinate and execute comprehensive export strategies that guide local talent toward international success, identifying specific target markets and 'sparks' for growth. - You will act as the central source of truth for global partners, ensuring they have the assets, information, and campaign updates needed to lean into our artists. - You will manage day-to-day campaign budgets with precision, ensuring high-impact investment decisions to fuel artist campaigns ex-home market. - You will support fan growth and community management initiatives, collaborating with marketing leads to ensure digital engagement resonates across different cultures. - You will drive project workflows between local labels, third-party agencies, and international territories to keep every campaign on track and on time. - You will run remote 'lean-in' campaigns in markets with limited local resourcing, coordinating with local experts and executing paid media strategies to build artist awareness. - You will facilitate on-ground artist opportunities, assisting with international promo trips, live showcases, and regional industry events. - You will analyse artist social and first-party data through an export lens, surfacing trends and streaming insights that can be leveraged for global momentum. About you: - You have 3+ years of experience in recorded music, music distribution, artist management, or live entertainment, with a solid track record in executing marketing campaigns. - You have a solid understanding of, or direct experience working within, key regional genres (such as Anglo pop/dance/rock, K-pop, J-pop, Mandopop, Cantopop, Hindi/Punjabi pop, or Desi Hip-hop). - You have a strong regional artist perspective and experience within APAC’s music markets, combined with the commercial acumen to track performance and budget investments. - You enjoy being a 'cultural chameleon' and strategic thinker who understands how different cultural nuances necessitate flexible ways of working to achieve the best outcomes. - You are passionate about international music, eager to learn what makes APAC artists successful across the globe, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. - You have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. - You will be based in Sydney and are willing and able to travel internationally for work. We’d love it if you also had: - Multilingual skills: Any additional languages like Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, or Hindi. - Technical Proficiency: Experience using music analytics tools like Chartmetric or Soundcharts, and project management platforms like Asana. - Digital Marketing Knowledge: A strong understanding of global DSP ecosystems and localised social media platforms across the APAC region. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade. We are searching for the best talent for a Transcend: QA Strategy Lead! While this role can be based across several listed locations, there is a strong preference to fill this role in Latina, Italy or Cork, Ireland. This is not a checkbox QA role — it's a critical leadership position where you will be the voice of quality for one of the largest ERP transformations in the pharmaceutical industry. If you thrive on building quality strategy from the ground up, challenging the status quo to protect patients, and operating with the confidence and independence to make tough calls — this is your opportunity. As the QA Strategy Lead (PG 31) within the Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend Team, you will own and shape the program-level QA strategy end-to-end. You will define the Quality Plan, set risk tolerance and acceptance criteria, and ensure every release is inspection-ready and aligned with program timelines. Reporting to the QA Director (PG 40), you will be the single point of accountability for QA strategic decisions across the program — from Quality Risk Management through to business readiness and system acceptance. This role is uniquely broad. You will not just lead strategy — you will drive risk management, business readiness, and system acceptance activities directly, building and delivering the full QA framework with your own hands. You will act as an independent quality voice, constructively challenging project teams to ensure compliance is never compromised for speed. You will operate at the intersection of quality, technology, and business transformation — and you will need to be equally comfortable communicating risk posture to senior leadership. We arre looking for someone with a genuine QA mindset — someone who sees quality not as a gate but as a competitive advantage. Someone who can earn trust across business, IT, and compliance partners while never losing sight of one thing: protecting the program and, ultimately, the patient. Key Responsibilities - Own and maintain the Transcend Quality Plan and program‑level Quality Risk Management (QRM) framework, defining risk tolerance and compliance acceptance criteria aligned with program milestones. Provide independent QA oversight and challenge decisions where compliance, data integrity, or patient safety may be at risk. - Own the Quality TIME Risk Register, driving identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting of program quality risks. Lead QRM and QRA execution, produce risk metrics, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and preventive actions aligned with enterprise risk frameworks. - Ensure end‑to‑end business readiness for each deployment wave by driving the Quality Plan, Business Implementation Plan, and GxP documentation strategy. Review and sign off on training, user access management (UAM), and cutover strategies, and act as the primary GxP advisor to business stakeholders. - Own the program’s audit trail, data integrity, and system acceptance strategy. Review and sign off on SDLC deliverables (Compliance Analysis, Compliance Plan, Testing Strategy), assess defect severity during UAT and Hypercare, and oversee technical QA topics as needed. Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; preferred Area of Study: Supply Chain, Quality or related. Experience and Skills: Required: - Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, or Compliance roles within a regulated environment - Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements: GMP, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and data integrity expectations - Strong experience in risk management methodologies (QRM, QRA, FMEA, or equivalent) - Proven experience with change control, CAPA, deviation management, and audit responses. - Hands-on experience with GxP compliance in computerized system validation (CSV) or IT-enabled business transformation contexts - Demonstrated ability to operate independently, challenge project teams constructively, and make quality-based decisions with confidence — even under delivery pressure - Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at execution level with project teams and at strategic level with senior leadership - Ability to manage and prioritize a broad scope of activities across strategy, risk, readiness, and acceptance simultaneously Preferred: - Familiarity with IM Innovative Medicine Quality Management Systems (COMET, TruVault, Summit). - Experience with SAP S/4 HANA or large-scale ERP transformation programs - Experience leading or facilitating Quality System Management Reviews (QSMR) - Track record of coaching and mentoring business stakeholders on quality and compliance expectations - Experience with business readiness activities including training strategy, UAM, and cutover planning for regulated systems Other: - Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally - May require up to 30% domestic and international travel depending on work location and business needs - Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week #LI-Hybrid Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
