Role Description A large public sector organization is seeking an experienced SAP Developer / Global Support Manager with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in Finance and Treasury modules. This role will support system implementation, optimization, and operational readiness through strategic guidance, documentation, testing leadership, and knowledge transfer. Key Responsibilities - SAP Functional & Technical Support - Administer SAP Finance (FI) and Treasury functionality, including related applications. - Provide analysis, development, testing, and ongoing system maintenance. - Support SAP Finance and Treasury operations including issue tracking and resolution. - Assist with system upgrades, support packs, and OSS notes implementation. - Provide after-hours system support as needed. - Documentation & Process Design - Develop documentation aligned with internal standards. - Create comprehensive current-state process documentation for Finance & Treasury. - Design future-state documentation supporting SAP S/4HANA upgrades. - Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and approve all documentation. - Testing & Implementation Support - Lead and support testing activities including unit testing and test script development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, designers, system owners). - Assist in developing test plans to validate solutions and components. - Identify system impacts during ECC to S/4HANA transition. - Support creation of implementation roadmaps. - Collaboration & Leadership - Partner with business leaders and stakeholders across departments. - Provide best-practice recommendations for public sector finance and treasury processes. - Mentor junior team members on SAP tools and programming concepts. - Participate in team planning and organizational initiatives. - Lead workshops and engage with executive leadership. - Additional Responsibilities - Assist with defining hardware specifications and system landscape enhancements. - Support budgeting, appropriations, grants, and governmental accounting processes. - Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills. - Maintain high standards of verbal and written communication. Qualifications - 7+ years of SAP Finance or Treasury/Cash Management experience. - 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience. - 7+ years of SAP ECC FI module experience. - 10+ years of SAP upgrades, troubleshooting, OSS notes, and support packs. - 10+ years of SAP experience within the public sector. - 7+ years of experience in budgeting, grants, appropriations, or governmental accounting. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations. - Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Project). - Experience leading workshops and working with executive stakeholders. - Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. • Act as a functional specialist in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP DRC; • Lead implementations, localization and continuous evolution of the global SAP template for OTC processes and SAP DRC; • Analyze business requirements and propose SAP solutions aligned with corporate strategies and global processes; • Perform hands-on SAP SD configuration as required by the business; • Prepare functional documentation for enhancements, integrations, conversions, reports, forms and workflows; • Plan and execute unit, integration and UAT tests together with the business areas; • Serve as the primary interface between functional areas and technical teams for incident resolution and environment support; • Manage multiple demands and priorities simultaneously in a multicultural environment; • Ensure clear, proactive and transparent communication regarding risks, status and progress of activities; • Work on analysis, optimization and evolution of SAP SD processes within the integrated SAP environment; • Take responsibility for the e-invoicing solution based on SAP DRC, including rollout and ongoing support; • Perform error analysis, functional debugging, log analysis and trace investigations; • Participate in rollouts, migrations and global SAP projects;
