District Sales Manager

• Own & Grow Your Territory: Manage a well-established ~$4.5M territory while identifying opportunities to expand customer relationships and increase market share • Develop Customer Partnerships: Work closely with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards to support their business needs • Drive Sales Growth: Balance maintaining current business with proactive prospecting and new opportunity development • Sell Industry-Leading Products: Represent metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products across residential, agricultural, and commercial markets • Support Product Training & Pull-Through Sales: Conduct customer education and contractor training programs while supporting contractor pull-through initiatives • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Build strong partnerships with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams • Provide Responsive Customer Support: Manage a high volume of customer interactions and transactions in a fast-paced environment • Navigate Brand Integration: Help customers transition through ongoing product and system integration initiatives following recent operational changes

Job Requirements

  • 3–5 + years of sales experience preferred
  • Experience within building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or adjacent industries strongly preferred
  • Understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels highly preferred
  • Experience with estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles valued
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a commitment to consistent customer follow-up
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with customers
  • Strong computer proficiency, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and adapt to multiple systems and technologies

Role Description The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for managing a team of Cardiology Account Representatives (CASs) within a sales region of 6-10 territories to achieve sales and marketing goals. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college/university required. - A minimum of 4 years’ experience and expert in healthcare sales management in pharma specialty, hospital or in medical device/diagnostic is required. Preference given to candidates with experience with cardiovascular categories. - Expert in track record of high achievement. - Knowledgeable/Expert in product launch. - Knowledgeable/Expert in Medicare population is a plus. - Knowledgeable/Expert in multi-state management experience. - Knowledgeable/Expert in understanding of specialty pharmacies as well as hospitals. IDN experience is a plus. - Knowledgeable/Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as prior utilization of CRM systems.
