Role Description We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in medical-legal operations to support subpoena processing and medical records management. The ideal candidate will have experience handling HIPAA-compliant records requests, organizing legal and medical documentation, and managing sensitive information with accuracy and confidentiality. - Process subpoena duces tecum requests - Review and verify HIPAA authorizations for compliance - Organize, maintain, and manage medical records - Bates stamp and prepare PDF documents for legal production - Upload records and legal documents to secure portals - Redact confidential and sensitive information as required - Track court deadlines and ensure timely submissions - Communicate with medical providers, law offices, and third parties regarding records requests - Maintain accurate documentation and case tracking systems Qualifications - At least 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Attorney, or Medical-Legal Specialist, within a pain management or medical-legal environment - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records handling - Familiarity with subpoena processing and legal documentation - Experience with document management, PDF editing, and Bates stamping software - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to manage confidential information professionally - Excellent communication and time management skills Requirements - This is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) - Pay rate of $6 - $7 per hour depending on skillset and experience - Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM PST

Role Description The Associate, Authorization is a position responsible for ensuring that patient care services are ready to bill accurately and in a timely manner.
