• Serve as the CCO’s trusted thought partner — helping to see around corners, pressure-test ideas, and translate strategy into executable plans • Build board-ready materials, executive presentations, and internal communications that are clear, compelling, and accurate • Chase down data points, synthesize commercial insights, and surface the information the CCO needs to make confident decisions • Drive alignment across commercial projects — managing stakeholder dynamics, resolving blockers, and keeping initiatives moving • Own program management for non-sales commercial projects spanning marketing, operations, and cross-functional initiatives • Manage dependencies across adjacent teams, ensuring handoffs are clean and timelines are met • Drive meeting cadence, pipeline reviews, and HubSpot hygiene — building the operational rhythm that keeps the commercial team sharp • Lead the commercial team’s best practices Center of Excellence: capturing what works, documenting what doesn’t, and packaging it for adoption by sales ops and sales leadership • Lead adoption and change management for new tools, processes, and ways of working, developing rollout plans, role-based playbooks, and enablement programs • Deploy AI agents and build AI-powered workflows that meaningfully improve commercial team productivity and decision-making • Stay ahead of the AI tooling landscape — know what is worth implementing and what is noise, and does act accordingly • Create feedback loops and iteration cadences to continuously improve what we have built • Take the lead on internal commercial special projects, including the Commercial Roundtable and other high-priority CCO initiatives • Partner with the CCO and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment on mission
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience, including 3–5 years in management consulting (strategy, operations, or GTM focus at MBB, Big 4, or boutique strategy firm)
- 3-5 years commercialization experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device space preferred
- Demonstrated experience at a venture-backed or high-growth company that scaled rapidly — think 3–10x revenue or headcount growth within a 2–3 year window. Didn't just observe the hypergrowth, but have experience in the room building through it
- Hands-on track record of deploying AI agents and building workflows around LLMs within a commercial or operations function— not just familiarity, but real implementation experience with real adoption outcomes
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills— Building a board deck that tells a crisp story and write an exec memo that doesn't require a follow-up
- High proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM; you understand pipeline hygiene and how data quality affects commercial decision-making.
