Job Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in technical writing, ideally supporting software systems or highly technical programs
  • Experience documenting software systems, APIs, or distributed architectures
  • Understand how to align documentation with government or regulated program requirements (e.g., compliance, deliverables, audits)
  • Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation for varied audiences
  • Experience using version control and documentation management tools, and can effectively maintain documentation throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Can manage multiple documentation efforts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and asking the right questions to get clarity
