• Support the administration, maintenance and monitoring of databases in a restricted and sensitive HR environment, ensuring confidentiality, availability, integrity and security of information. • Work alongside development, HR, information security and infrastructure teams, supporting the operation of SQL Server databases in both on-premises and cloud (GCP) environments. • Participate in backup and recovery routines, access control, performance monitoring, troubleshooting and responding to requests related to HR data.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of SQL Server (installation, basic configuration and administration).
  • Experience with SQL (creating and executing queries, views, stored procedures and functions).
  • Basics of backup, restore and recovery in SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and normalization concepts.
  • Experience or exposure to cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform – GCP).
  • Basic knowledge of database security, specifically:
  • Access control
  • User, role and permission management
  • Best practices for restricted environments and sensitive data
  • Basics of monitoring and performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Organized, responsible profile with attention to detail and commitment to information confidentiality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Preferred/Additional:
  • Experience administering databases in HR environments or other areas that handle sensitive and confidential data.
  • Previous experience with HR systems (payroll, benefits, time and attendance, hiring/onboarding, among others).
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud data services (e.g., Cloud SQL, Compute Engine, Cloud Monitoring).
  • Advanced T-SQL knowledge and query tuning.
  • Familiarity with high availability, contingency and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Experience with automation scripts (PowerShell or similar).
  • Familiarity with audit, compliance practices and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
  • Microsoft (SQL Server / Azure) or Google Cloud certifications.
  • Previous experience as an Intern, Trainee or Junior DBA.
