The Graduate Engineer will perform routine engineering tasks; create drawings, calculations, and designs under the supervision of an experienced engineer. What You'll Do Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering systems, including; physical substation arrangements, sections/elevations, conduit/grounding layout plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, material lists and similar type drawings as it pertains to substation design. Additionally, the engineer will perform design calculations, sketches, plan preparation, technical comparisons, and similar technical work within the Substation market. What We Expect from You - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required. ABET accredited program or equivalent required. - Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire. - Engineering internship experience preferred. - Electrical power systems coursework preferred. - Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access). - Applies current, standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to complete engineering tasks. - Develops plans, specifications, and observation reports to see that these items are complete, accurate and in accordance with sound engineering practice. - Practices efficiency engineering as it pertains to design selection. - Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality. - Works closely with engineering technicians and experienced electrical engineers. - Performs detailed engineering design and evaluations within specialty. - Prepares reports and correspondence concerning the direction of assigned projects. - May participate in marketing, sales and business development activities within assigned market. - Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity and latitude. - Effectively communicates and interacts with clients to ensure we are meeting their needs. - Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline. - Up to 15% travel required. - Must have authorization to work permanently in the US. • Lead Commissioning of electrical power systems LV - MV - DC • Take responsibility for electrical testing and start-up of batteries, DC/AC Inverters, DC/DC Converters, MV switchgear and protection, LV switchgear • Inspect and advise on electrical power systems installation according to manufactures instructions • Complete commissioning procedures according to specification and instructions • Troubleshoot LV/MV/DC Systems, collaborate and feedback corrective measures on engineering and design

Role Description This role is fully remote and requires up to 90% travel. - Define work elements, complete floor observations, analyze data, and implement engineered standards in Distribution Centers (DCs) across the United States. - Trend analysis of DCs performance, efficiency, & capacity. - Review, refine, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Lead training for warehouse staff explaining engineered labor standards (ELS). - Project management of strategic projects including layout optimization, slotting/pick paths, racking configurations. - Support/coordinate warehouse management system (WMS) configuration. Ability to translate operational requirements into WMS config/solutions. - Other projects or duties as assigned. • Assist TU program and project managers with planning and managing engineering work completed by outside consultants, including crafting scopes, budgets, and schedules, reviewing project designs/deliverables, and providing construction oversight. • Collaborate with existing engineers and national restoration center staff to build a sustainable internal engineering services division within the organization that integrates with existing TU program and project managers. • Conduct stream geomorphic surveys, stream habitat assessments, aquatic passage assessments, and topographic surveys using total station and/or GPS equipment. • Complete analytical assessments of aquatic habitats, and design calculations and modeling of proposed project conditions using a variety of tools and software according to project need, such as Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, Rivermorph, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Prepare construction-level designs for stream restoration and conservation projects, including cost estimates, specifications, and drawing sets in Civil 3D. • Stamp, and serve as the Engineer of Record for project designs as appropriate. • Work with TU internal and external partners to plan and complete permitting, construction oversight, and monitoring activities. • Travel to local and regional project sites for survey, construction, and meetings as required. • Work collaboratively with other TU staff (program and project managers, design team, etc.), landowners, funders, contractors, and other project partners. • This position is a non-supervisory position and this is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities.
