Role Description Join our dynamic project studio as a Motion Designer / Editor, where you’ll work on high-profile advertising and social campaigns for a leading domestic appliances brand. We’re looking for someone who can contribute creatively to campaign executions, social-first content, and always-on activity, while also confidently handling localisation and scale when required. We are looking for a Motion Designer to join Brandtech+. The primary role is to help create powerful and impactful digital content for a multitude of different projects. The Motion Designer will proactively manage design quality, accuracy, and consistency across all creative work. The ideal candidate should be familiar with executing from conceptual through adaptation. While the role doesn’t require conceptual development, you should be familiar with the process and be able to execute conceptual design concepts. We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer / Editor with strong experience across campaign-led and social-first moving image. You’ll work across concepting, execution, and adaptation, producing content for multiple channels including social, online video, DOOH, TV, and cinema. The ideal candidate combines strong animation and editing skills with an excellent eye for detail, sound design, typography, and pacing. You’ll be comfortable producing new creative assets as well as adapting master files for local markets, often at speed and at scale. Key Responsibilities - Design and produce motion content from brief to delivery across social, digital, DOOH, and broadcast channels - Contribute creatively to campaign concepts, content ideas, and executions in collaboration with designers and copywriters - Edit and animate social-first content, including short-form video, cut-downs, paid social assets, and platform-specific formats - Adapt global master assets into local market versions, including language adaptations, crops, and resizes - Build bespoke motion assets for regional or market-specific needs - Work with automation tools and templates to support high-volume production where applicable - Attend stand-ups, respond to briefs, and manage daily production outputs - Partner closely with Integrated Project Managers, providing clear status updates and flagging risks or dependencies - Ensure all work meets brand guidelines, platform specifications, and quality standards - Champion efficient, future-facing ways of working, including automation, templates, and improved workflows Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in motion design and/or video editing within an agency or in-house creative environment - Strong experience delivering content across owned and paid media - Proven experience working on global or large-scale brand campaigns - Ability to work both creatively and production-focused depending on the brief - Experience managing multiple projects, formats, and deadlines simultaneously - Confident collaborating with creatives, social teams, and production partners Technical Skills - Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Media Encoder - Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, typography, and visual storytelling - Experience with social platform specifications and best practices - Knowledge of expressions, templates, or automated workflows is a strong plus - Solid understanding of output settings, rendering, and delivery requirements across channels Personal Attributes - Detail-oriented with a strong sense of craft and quality control - Clear, proactive communicator - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Curious, adaptable, and keen to learn new tools and workflows - Collaborative mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude What you will be doing - Deliver on briefs from concept to completion via working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation, and implementation. - Staying on track with emerging digital trends and engaging with the wider digital creative community. - The ability to take complete ownership of projects, including taking brief, presenting initial designs to client (where required), and managing the project until delivery. - Be available to assist the account management and design team with digital design briefs as appropriate. - A strong understanding of conceptualisation, graphic design, typography, and motion/video content. - Demonstrate strong design thinking for the web, digital, ecommerce, and especially social advertising. - Adapt and define the look and feel for a variety of design projects whilst implementing existing brand guidelines.
