Job Requirements

  • Proven Product Operator: You have a proven track record of launching, operating and scaling complex products, platforms, or services from concept to market or transforming existing products for their next stage of growth.
  • Customer-Obsessed: You are an expert in translating customer problems from the ResTech and data space into clear, well-structured product requirements, backed by data and qualitative insights.
  • Technical Expertise: You have direct experience managing the full lifecycle of API and UI driven products and can also clearly demonstrate shipping high quality experiences.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience and interest in how LLMs and modern coding stacks challenge long held verities would be a strong plus.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and are seen as an expert storyteller. You can effectively partner with senior leadership and are skilled at managing complex stakeholder maps.
  • Remote First: Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.

About the Role We're seeking a Senior Product Manager of Consumer Payments to own the consumer-facing payment experience across Roku touchpoints, including activation, signup, checkout, billing, and subscription management. This role is essential to enabling frictionless commerce and driving conversion at the point of transaction. You'll be responsible for the consumer-facing aspects of the method of payment (MOP), payment provider integrations, billing information, and ensuring compliance with consumer-facing payment regulations. For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $204,000 - $255,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. What You'll Be Doing - Own and enhance the consumer-facing payment experiences across all Roku touchpoints-including device activation, account creation, checkout flows, and subscription management-with a focus on maximizing conversion at the point of transaction - Drive method of payment (MOP) product strategy and enhancements in partnership with the Payments team, giving users choice and flexibility in how they purchase on Roku. - Define and deliver consumer-facing requirements for payment partner launches and enhancements, working closely with Engineering and Business Development teams - New market entry experiences from a payments perspective, ensuring compliance with local payment regulations, supporting preferred local payment methods, and enabling market-specific billing requirements - Collaborate cross-functionally to operationalize payment compliance in consumer flows, communications, and customer touchpoints across email, in-app, and web experiences - Run A/B tests to optimize payment experiences to maximize purchase conversion and retention. - Work with Customer Care to design clear store credit and refund experiences. - Contribute to and understand payment analytics frameworks and dashboards to monitor transaction success rates, payment method performance, authorization rates, and decline reasons as critical information to improve overall transaction success.
