Senior Business Analyst / Functional Analyst
EUROPEAN DYNAMICS
Role Description We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Business Analyst / Functional Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely within EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team. - Organize and lead workshops with stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned throughout the project lifecycle. - Analysis of business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements. - Provide high-level (Level 2) support to end users, addressing tickets. - Draft use cases and assist/execute user acceptance testing to ensure that the system developed meets the business requirements and is according to the specifications agreed to. - Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop wireframes and prototypes that align with business requirements. Ensure the user interface and user experience are optimized for end-users, facilitating effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders. - Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support informed decision-making and recommend actionable strategies for process optimization. - Support the preparation and delivery of training sessions (for end users and for the newcomers in the team). Qualifications - University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT. - Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and documentation. - Proven ability to analyze and model business processes using standard modelling methodologies (e.g. BPMN, UML). - Experience conducting gap analysis, impact analysis, feasibility studies, SWOT analysis, and root-cause analysis. - Experience supporting Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. - Hands-on experience with Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence. - Experience in drafting use cases, user stories, workflows, and functional specifications. - Ability to perform functional troubleshooting and provide Level 2 business/application support. - Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools for web applications. - Excellent command of the English language.
