Clinical Documentation Integrity Business Partner
Franciscan Health
• Act as an extension of CDI Division Management by serving as a liaison between CDI, Coding, Quality, HIM and Physician Advisors. • Serve as the initial go-to person and ensures follow-up is completed. • Triage, research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming inquiries. • Work with others as needed to resolve issues and implement solutions. • Promote and maintain standardization of the EHR and CDI workflows across the corporation. • Prioritize and follow up on division initiatives and tracking to help ensure efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree Clinical/Nursing, Health Information Management, Information Services, Informatics - Required
- Bachelor's Degree Clinical/Nursing, Health Information Management, Information Services, Informatics - Preferred
- 3 years Franciscan experience in any of the following: Clinical Nursing, CDI, HIM/coding, HIM IS, Health Data analytics, Revenue Cycle IS, Informatics - Required
- 3 years RN, LPN, RHIA, or RHIT with clinical documentation integrity experience or IS support of clinical documentation integrity function - Required
- 5 years EHR experience - Required
- 1 year process improvement activities - Preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Required
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment - Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - State Licensing Board - Preferred
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) - Required or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) - Required
