Role Description Our client, a firm based in the US, is seeking a Remote Accountant. (you can be based anywhere in SA) - Manage day-to-day accounting function across multiple entities - Maintain general ledgers and process accounts payable - Monitor bank and credit card transactions - Perform monthly reconciliations - Prepare basic monthly reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) - Track income and expenses (including rental/property) - Assist with month-end and journals - Prepare information for accountants Qualifications - Bcom in finance - 3+ years experience (multi-entity preferred/intercompany accounts) - Strong understanding of reconciliations and monthly close - Solid Excel / Google Sheets skills - Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar Requirements - Intercompany accounts experience - Financial reporting experience - Proficiency in QuickBooks Benefits - R30 000 to R40 000 (paid in Rands and not US Dollars)
