Role Description This position is responsible for designing enhancements and new business applications and/or information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements; serving as technical designer to identify best solution and resulting technical specifications within limits of code environment; linking Business Analyst needs and Architect definition to technical solutions. Ensure the integrity, security, scalability, and daily availability of the databases supporting the Illinois and Texas Blue Chip and IRIS CICS applications through proactive monitoring and management activities. • The Engineer, Access Control Systems is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security access control systems across Colovore's data center sites and construction projects. • This role partners closely with Facilities, Construction, Operations, Engineering, IT, Network, Compliance and vendor teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable access control solutions. • The position combines system design, programming, installation, integration, and quality control in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
The VHA HEFP Special Engineering Program (SEP) manages nationally prioritized, high-impact capital initiatives, including the Electronic Health Record Modernization, Facility Recapitalization, and Targeted Infrastructure programs. SEP establishes national priorities to ensure consistent, enterprise-wide alignment and execution. Gritter Francona is looking for a Construction System Engineer to support this potential project.
