BeOne continues to grow at a rapid pace with challenging and exciting opportunities for experienced professionals. When considering candidates, we look for scientific and business professionals who are highly motivated, collaborative, and most importantly, share our passionate interest in fighting cancer. General Description: The Director, Procurement Technology Solutions is the global lead responsible for the architecture, template strategy, and roadmap of technology solutions that enable BeOne’s diverse procurement operations. This role sets the global Source-to-Pay vision—balancing standardized processes with pragmatic regional flexibility—to ensure solutions meet organizational objectives and local market needs. The leader brings deep hands-on expertise across procurement platforms (including SAP Ariba, Agiloft or like contract lifecycle management platforms, spend and risk management, sourcing, and vendor management, etc.), designs an interconnected architecture spanning core and tangential products, and drives end-to-end delivery with integrated teams in Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, and supporting functions. This is a highly collaborative role that partners with business and technology stakeholders to define global templates, govern changes, and guide execution through multi-region deployments, with particular emphasis on life sciences regulatory expectations (validation/assurance), audit readiness, and data privacy. Additionally, this leader should be a forward thinker with demonstrated experience in leveraging the latest technologies and strategies for enabling AI, analytics, and creating a strong user experience for procurement stakeholders—both internal and external to the organization. The role partners closely with Procurement Excellence teams to drive process optimization, digital transformation, and measurable ROI across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle, and establishes and enforces process rigor to prevent downstream reclassifications and compliance issues. Essential Functions of the Job: Source-to-Pay Architecture & Governance: Define and govern the global Source-to-Pay technology landscape, establishing standards and templates for procurement, sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, purchasing, invoicing, and performance management. Procurement Technology Leadership: Provide expert guidance on SAP Ariba, Agiloft, spend/risk management, and vendor management platforms; oversee design, configuration, and integration decisions to ensure seamless, end-to-end procurement processes. Process Excellence & ROI Measurement: Partner with Procurement Excellence teams to establish, measure, and report on ROI-driven impact of technology solutions; drive adoption of digital procurement best practices, automation, and data-driven decision-making. User Experience & Stakeholder Engagement: Champion a strong, intuitive user experience for procurement stakeholders; gather feedback, iterate on solutions, and ensure technology platforms meet the needs of global users. Process Rigor & Compliance: Implement controls and suggest process rigor to avoid downstream reclassifications and compliance issues; ensure robust data privacy, risk management, and regulatory alignment across all procurement platforms. Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to align technology solutions with business requirements and compliance standards. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in procurement technology, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing global teams and platforms. Deep expertise in SAP Ariba, contract management solutions (Agiloft or similar), spend/risk management platforms, and vendor management systems. Proven track record of leading global procurement technology rollouts and process transformation. Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, contract management, supplier risk, and spend analytics processes. Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries preferred. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
