Job Description

Senior Consultant, Workday Payroll

PTG

• Lead and support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Payroll solutions • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into Workday configurations • Develop and execute test plans for payroll functionality, including regression, integration, and end-to-end testing • Support payroll operations during implementation, parallel testing, and cutover activities • Troubleshoot payroll issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as internal company policies • Provide post-implementation support, system maintenance, and user training

Job Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of Workday Payroll experience with hands-on configuration and implementation
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, wage/tax calculations, garnishments, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Workday modules such as HCM, Time Tracking, and Absence Management is highly preferred
  • Workday certification in Payroll required
