You’ll lead the migration from AWS to Azure, ensuring a smooth transition for existing services and building new Azure‑native capabilities, and you’ll design, code, test, and deploy applications across the stack. Rapid response cycles are essential: you’ll perform time‑critical analysis of application issues, recommend actions, and deliver hot‑fixes or roll‑backs as needed, owning the deployment pipeline with Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices. Collaboration with a small testing team will ensure functionality, performance, and security throughout the development lifecycle. The Work: The work centers on providing Software Development and analytical expertise to build tools and resources and drive process improvements, define requirements, and develop functional architectures for both front‑end and back‑end systems while overseeing the migration of existing AWS applications to Azure. You’ll design, code, test, and deploy new cloud‑native solutions, manage rapid hot‑fix and rollback cycles, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for timely patch releases. We support our employees, so they can support our missions. #RMSMR22026 #SPNSR Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply several tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices and containers • Experience performing front-end web design and development • Experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, lnVision) • Experience testing web-based applications Desired Skills: • 10 years of overall experience in the functional area . • 10 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply several tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices and containers • 5 years of recent and relevant experience performing front-end web design and development • Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements. • Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards • Demonstrated experience in generating system wireframes, mockups, etc. considering multiple user personas • Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, lnVision) • 5 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira). • 5 years of experience testing web-based applications . • 5 years of experience leading software development programs/projects. • Practical experience developing in a cloud environment • 5 years of experience with Jenkins and Gitlab • 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following: NPM • Cypress.io • esbuild • Bun • Apache Tomcat 0 Maven • SonarQube • Experience using Agile Test-Driven development • Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments • 5 years experience with Cl/CD software development Clearance Level:TS/SCI w/Poly SP Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest:By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,200 - $225,975. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
