Role Description At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, we're on a mission to drive innovation and uphold the highest standards of business ethics. Your expertise in records governance and process assurance will ensure the integrity of critical mission data, directly supporting the operational readiness and compliance of our aerospace and defense programs. The RMS Process and Records Assurance Team supports the RMS business area by administering change requests, administrative changes, and repository maintenance for over 5,000 policies, procedures, guidance documents, forms, and other Command Media and non-Command Media process assets, and providing Records Management administration and assistance to approximately 120 Records Custodians managing an inventory of over 100,000 boxes of physical records and numerous electronic systems. Responsibilities include: - Serving as a deputy for the RMS Process and Records Assurance Manager: Working independently to lead major record retention compliance projects to completion. - Assisting with identification and training of new Records Custodians. - Leading process and tool improvement projects. - Compiling and reporting metrics. - Participating in cross-business area collaboration meetings and 1LMX commonality projects. - Ensuring compliance to Records Management policies and procedures for one or more RMS sites. - Maintaining data in inventory tracking systems. - Ordering shipments and destruction of physical records inventory. - Assisting Records Custodians with classification and disposition of records. - Maintaining RMS/Sikorsky policies, procedures, guidance documents, and other Command Media and non-Command Media process assets in accordance with company standards. - Administering process asset change requests. - Publishing released process assets to Command Media Central. - Creating/maintaining SharePoint libraries and workflows. - Representing Process and Records Assurance in internal and external quality system audits, including AS9100/ISO9001, CMMI, and customer audits such as FAA or DCMA. - Other related duties as assigned. Records Management projects require obtaining buy-in and assistance from individuals in all functions and at all job levels. The ideal candidate will excel at cultivating collaboration with anyone from represented hourly workers to executives, suppliers, and customers. Qualifications - 5+ years experience in a Records Management role, OR any combination of 5+ years experience in Records Management, Document Control, Data Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Quality, or other related discipline AND project management experience. - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office products. - Familiarity with industry requirements for documented information (AS9100, ISO9001, CMMI, etc.) - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Due to program requirements, US Citizenship is required.
