• Work across the regulatory team supporting all document management activities • Support implementation and maintenance of Regulatory Information Management System across all programs. • Archive regulatory submission documents, content plans and health authority queries for easy searching and retrieval • Own and maintain document repositories, trackers and dashboards, providing up to date, accurate information as a communication tool within R&D • Authoring of departmental documents including SOPs to support the systems and processes used in Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Development Plans • Support departmental initiatives, including process and infrastructure development, regulatory intelligence, and budgeting

• Collaborate closely with the Merchant Risk team to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks associated with merchant and platform partners. • Review and approve financial services marketing materials to ensure they comply with regulations and industry standards. • Work cross-functionally with departments such as Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Revenue to complete reviews and address compliance issues and their root causes. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance training and reference materials. • Operate in a fast-paced environment while delivering detailed and diligent work. • Support the completion of the compliance risk assessment and control inventory, including gathering, organizing relevant information and documenting results. • Serve as a proficient advisor on regulatory compliance, specifically as it relates to merchant and partner integration with Affirm.

• Assist with reviewing state fee schedule rules, guidelines, regulations, and/or statutes for changes or compliance risks with reimbursement • Draft second level reconsideration letters • Assist with drafting and responding to state disputes • Determine if the second level reconsideration request requires a medical coder or clinician for audit • Work with the Director of Policy and Strategy Operations or the equivalent role to assist in implementing system changes for risk mitigation in Workers’ Compensation fee schedules or gap logic • Provide consultation internally or externally where appropriate • Provide internal training where required for compliance • Assist in the development of compliance processes and procedures • Partner with other business units to ensure compliance with implementing, adopting, or expanding on the rules and/or regulations, including but not limited to policies, procedures, and contracts • Responsible for handling high level appeals – either based on the client or dollar threshold • Establish special reimbursement policies for identified TIN’s • Other duties as assigned or requested • Responsible for handling negotiation with attorneys for state disputes
