Staff Psychologist

Possibilities

Role Description We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate licensed psychologist (Counseling or Clinical) for a fully remote position who is energized by working with neurodiverse children, youth, and their families. This is a chance to join a growing practice where your assessments, clinical judgment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will make an immediate and lasting difference in the lives of our clients and their families. This position can be 100% remote, but it is preferred to work near Logan, Utah. A relocation stipend of $5,000-$10,000 is available for qualified candidates who are relocating for this role. Essential Job Functions - Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations via secure telehealth platforms, including developmental history interviews, behavioral observations, and standardized assessment procedures. - Administer, score, and interpret autism-specific assessment tools appropriate for telehealth delivery (e.g. BOSA, TELE-ASD-PEDS, remote rating scales). - Integrate data from multiple sources including parent interviews, rating scales, school reports, medical records, and direct observation to determine diagnostic impressions. - Formulate differential diagnoses related to autism spectrum disorder and co-occurring conditions (e.g. ADHD, anxiety, developmental delays). - Produce clear, clinically sound diagnostic formulations consistent with DSM-5-TR criteria. - Prepare comprehensive psychological evaluation reports that summarize findings, diagnostic conclusions, and individualized recommendations. - Other duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Physical Requirements - Stationary Position: Ability to remain in a seated or standing position for extended periods while performing administrative duties. - Repetitive Motion: Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, operating a computer, and handling office equipment. - Visual Acuity: Ability to view a computer screen and read written materials for prolonged periods. - Communication: Ability to effectively communicate, including speaking and hearing, to participate in meetings (in-person and virtual) and phone calls. Qualifications - Passion for working with neurodiverse individuals and their families. - Proven competence in psychological evaluations, including skilled clinical interviewing, autism-specific assessment (including the ADOS-2 and related measures), and other standard assessment tools. - Experience with tele-assessment. - Experience with the BOSA. - Experience with the TELE-ASD-PEDS. - Practical experience delivering services to neurodiverse individuals. - Clinical experience with children, youth, and young adults. - Willingness to learn and work as a team.
