Junior Cloud/Cyber Security Engineer
Unisys
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure platforms. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to network, storage, and compute resources. • Responsible for the identification, tracking and management of enterprise risks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing systems and applications. • Follows documentation to identify, evaluate, test and implement appropriate security products, tools, and systems to establish and ensure a secure infrastructure. • Learn and articulate security policies, guidelines and standards to customers and developers. • Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. • Evaluate, test, recommend, develop, coordinate, monitor and maintain information systems (IS) and cybersecurity policies, procedures and systems, including access management for hardware, firmware and software.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Should have minimum knowledge and training experience in Cloud and cyber security operations
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or PowerShell).
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
