• Identify and source relevant RFP opportunities from multiple channels and assess their alignment with company strategy • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals in collaboration with internal teams • Customize proposals to address client needs, industry context, and specific evaluation criteria • Conduct structured follow-ups with clients and coordinate demo scheduling and engagement activities • Maintain RFP documentation, improve proposal templates, and contribute to continuous process enhancements

Job Requirements

  • 6+ months experience working on RFPs.
  • Strong proposal writing and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Analytical and research skills to evaluate RFP requirements, eligibility, and competitive positioning
  • Effective project management skills to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Good understanding of business strategy, products/services, and target markets
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, document management tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools

Role Description The Regional Inside Sale Associate (RISA) will retain and grow existing customers within the Vestis Direct Sales business region. The RISA is responsible for increasing purchase frequency, average order size and generating sales leads to the field based Direct Sale Executive (DSE) to grow the business. The RISA will partner with their DSE to achieve team targets and the RISA is accountable to achieve individual sales metrics on a daily basis. This role is remote in portions of the Northeast United States. Responsibilities/Essential Functions - Achieves or exceeds assigned revenue and margin quotas by: - Maintaining frequency of purchase and increasing the average order size planned for that region. - Reducing or maintaining discount levels to business objectives. - Providing 10 samples weekly and closing 2 weekly. - Effectively negotiating and managing pricing strategies to ensure balance between needs of the customer and Vestis. - Qualifying warm or hot leads opportunities and immediately passing these leads to the appropriate DSE. - Conducting a high volume of outbound calls (50 per day) to accounts assigned to the region. - Providing 10 weekly leads to the DSE using Salesforce.com. - Effectively using SFA to track all accounts, contacts and activities. Updating SFA regularly on all opportunities. - Providing 50 price quotes, leads or RFP’s to customers and closing 60% of these weekly. - Positioning and selling Vestis Direct Sale value proposition. - Delegating all post sale and customer service activity to appropriate sales support representative. - Proactively expanding business within existing account base. Taking initiative and full ownership as needed to address customer needs and maximize revenue. - Demonstrating an expert understanding of all current product needs within team accounts. - Effectively positioning and selling the entire product portfolio of Vestis Direct Sale apparel product within their accounts. - Maintaining strong relationships with DSE, assigned Market Center Sales and Operations staff. - Attending meetings with current customers and team members. - Providing accurate forecasting and current pipelines. - Performing other duties as assigned.
