Circles
Role Description We’re looking for an analytically strong, execution-focused Business Analyst to power commercial decision-making for a new digital telco in the MENA region. Sitting within the Commercial team, this role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution; the successful candidate will support in translating data into helping the business make faster, smarter decisions across pricing, acquisition, and monetization. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with technical fluency in data; someone who can break down complex problems, uncover trends, and deliver recommendations that move the needle. What You Will Be Doing - Performance optimization - Track and analyze core commercial KPIs to uncover insights and improvement opportunities - Investigate acquisition, pricing, and usage funnels to identify friction points and surface quick wins - Deliver actionable recommendations to Commercial, Product, and Marketing teams based on data - Reporting & decision-making support - Own weekly and monthly commercial reporting to leadership, with crisp narratives and clear takeaways - Serve as the go-to analyst for ad hoc data requests, campaign deep-dives, and tracking setup - Pricing & growth strategy - Support pricing and bundling strategies with commercial modelling and scenario planning - Run break-even and sensitivity analyses to guide trade-off decisions and optimize margin - Support the Head of Commercial and Finance in aligning forecasts and business planning - Business execution support - Support on go-to-market execution, offer testing, and launch readiness - Integrate measurement frameworks into product and campaign initiatives to accelerate learning cycles - Bring a data-first approach to commercial conversations and cross-functional collaboration Qualifications - 3+ years in business analytics, commercial strategy, or growth roles in B2C digital consumer businesses (e.g., telco, fintech, e-commerce) - Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel; working knowledge of Looker, Tableau, or Power BI strongly preferred - Clear understanding of telco economics and KPIs, with the ability to connect insights to action - Strong communicator who can simplify complex data and influence cross-functional teams - Experience in the MENA region or emerging digital markets is a strong advantage Company Description Founded in 2014, Circles is a global technology company reimagining the telco industry with its innovative SaaS platform, empowering telco operators worldwide to effortlessly launch innovative digital brands or refresh existing ones, accelerating their transformation into techcos. • Own the end-to-end analysis of customer escalations, cancellations, and key risk indicators across the customer. • Monitor and report on trends by segment, product, region, lifecycle stage, and reason code to identify emerging issues and recurring patterns. • Build recurring insight packages for CX, Customer Success, Support, Product, and executive stakeholders that highlight major drivers of customer friction and churn risk. • Develop structured analyses that connect customer issues to operational, product, onboarding, service, and commercial root causes. • Lead root cause analysis for high-priority escalation and cancellation themes, including gathering inputs from Salesforce, support systems, customer feedback, and future customer success platform data. • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to align on root causes, prioritize the issues with the greatest customer and business impact, and define action plans with clear owners and milestones. • Track remediation plans through completion and measure whether actions taken are reducing repeat escalations, improving customer sentiment, and lowering avoidable churn. • Establish a repeatable operating rhythm for reviewing customer issue trends, action-plan progress, and unresolved systemic risks with business leaders. • Design and maintain a standardized taxonomy for escalation reasons, cancellation reasons, and risk drivers so trend reporting is consistent and actionable. • Partner with Operations and Systems teams to improve the data model, fields, workflow design, and reporting structure in Salesforce. • Serve as a key CX Insights stakeholder in the utilization of the company’s future customer success platform, helping optimize requirements for health scoring, risk tracking, alerts, dashboards, and retention analytics. • Ensure that new processes and systems support reliable root cause capture, closed-loop action management, and executive visibility into customer risk themes. • Partner with Customer Success leadership to improve how at-risk accounts, escalations, and cancellation signals are identified and categorized. • Work with Product teams to quantify the impact of product defects, usability issues, missing capabilities, and integration friction on customer experience and retention. • Collaborate with Support leaders to identify process breakdowns, service quality issues, and recurring case drivers that contribute to escalation volume. • Support CX and executive leadership with data-backed narratives for monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, strategic planning, and retention-focused initiatives.
