This role is ideal for an early-career communicator with strong writing skills, a passion for communications, and an interest in both social media and editorial publishing. The person in this role will support a wide range of initiatives — from media monitoring and database upkeep to publication workflows and social media execution. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad MarCom experience in a collaborative, content-driven environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Write every day, including social media content and email and other promotional marketing copy - Assist with publication pipeline through editorial, project management, and light formatting support - Write press releases, coordinate distribution via newswires and social media - Create social media content, including text, photos, and videos - Assist in social media listening and administration of the firm’s social media policy - Track and record daily media mentions using internal and external tools SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: - College degree - The ideal candidate must have minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, media, or publishing - The ideal candidate must have the working knowledge of M365 suite. - The ideal candidate must be proficient with MS Word; must have knowledge of Word formatting and design features - The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of media platforms like Hootsuite and Muck Rack - Must have exceptional writing skills. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: - Experience with project management systems/tools such as Wrike - Understanding/no fear of AI as a tool for content and creative development LOCATION: This is a remote role. COMPENSATION: The overall salary range for this role is $59,200 - $109,020. For candidates residing in: - Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Newark, San Jose, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $68,080 - $109,020. - All other locations the salary range is $59,200 - $94,800.
