National Technical Sales & Service Manager

Role Description This position is home-based, ideally suited for candidates located in the Central or Eastern United States near a major airport, as it involves supporting Key Accounts across the country. The selected individual will be responsible for evaluating various Kerry technologies designed to enhance animal performance and health and for communicating these advancements effectively to generate commercial interest within the industry. The role requires building relationships at customer sites and research facilities with frequent travel (40-60%) throughout the U.S. Key objectives include achieving targets related to the application of Kerry products for improving animal health and performance, thereby creating commercial opportunities. Key Responsibilities - Technical Sales & Service: Engage with customers to promote Kerry’s Technologies with a primary focus on Kerry’s Enzyme and Biotechnology Platforms. - Product Development: Collaborate with the Global Application team to advance product development and gather clinical data through university and industry partners. - Market Advocacy: Represent Kerry within the broader Animal Nutrition Industry in North America. - Customer Relationships: Establish Kerry as a preferred long-term supplier at national accounts by developing and maintaining strong relationships at all organizational levels, utilizing direct contacts and participation in relevant events. - Budget Management: Contribute to the formulation of annual research budgets and take necessary actions to meet targets. - Account Maintenance: Recommend suitable resources and strategies to address customer issues, competitive challenges, complaints, and sales erosion. - Strategic Growth: Support divisional growth by developing strategies for the assigned territory and identifying new technologies and market opportunities. - Project Management: Initiate and oversee projects while ensuring effective communication between customers and cross-functional teams. - Technical Sales Support: Lead technical support activities including new product selection, product research, training, presentations, literature development, webinars, and joint sales calls.
