Role Description The Project Manager for the Credentialing Department leads strategic initiatives to enhance customer onboarding, regulatory compliance, and credentialing operations. This role drives the successful execution of complex credentialing projects while ensuring regulatory alignment and operational excellence. The PM partners with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Legal, and external vendors to optimize credentialing workflows and deliver measurable business outcomes. Job Responsibilities - Research and analyze market trends, organizations, and individuals to identify new business opportunities and sales leads. - Lead end-to-end credentialing projects system implementations, process automation, and regulatory compliance updates. - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure credentialing deliverables meet quality standards and timeline requirements. - Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans with clear milestones, risk assessments, and deliverable tracking. - Ensure all credentialing activities align with industry regulations and internal compliance standards. - Facilitate stakeholder meetings, provide reporting, and communicate project status to leadership. - Identify operational inefficiencies and spearhead process improvement initiatives to enhance credentialing workflows. - Support regulatory audits and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring accessibility of credentialing records. - Manage change control processes and document of scope modifications. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or related field required. - 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in credentialing or financial services, or regulated operations. - Strong knowledge of credentialing standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. - Proficiency in project management software and tools. - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with or willingness to learn AI tools and emerging technologies. Preferred Qualifications - PMP or CAPM certification. - Experience with credentialing software platforms and contracting processes. - Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. - Detail-oriented with proactive approach to risk identification and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities - Manage projects end-to-end from kickoff through completion, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies. - Coordinate New Product Introduction activities from RFQ award through manufacturing and production readiness. - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. - Identify project risks, monitor progress, and support mitigation planning to ensure successful execution. - Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress across cross-functional teams. - Prepare and present project status updates and reports to sales, account management, leadership, and customers. - File and maintain drawings and project documentation in designated systems. - Act as a primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and Asia manufacturing partners. - Review incoming information, drawings, and documentation; request clarification or additional details as needed. - Review and process information from Asia teams prior to release to management or customers. - Attend or lead customer meetings to provide project updates and document action items and meeting notes. - Ensure internal project workflows and company processes are consistently followed. - Create, maintain, and improve project trackers to support visibility, accountability, and execution. - Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization. - Propose and support process improvements related to project tracking, communication, and execution. - Utilize spreadsheets, dashboards, and databases to organize and analyze project data. - Support automation and standardization of project tracking and reporting processes. - Maintain accurate, organized records and documentation in SharePoint and related systems. - Perform initial reviews of vendor quotations to identify missing or inconsistent information. - Support project-related financial analysis, including costing, tooling investments, and supplier quotations. - Generate internal worksheets and customer quotes for review and approval. - Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
