• Develop conceptual site layouts for community solar projects throughout the development process. • Evaluate greenfield and brownfield sites for solar development suitability. • Create optimized layouts that maximize project economics while maintaining constructability and permitting viability. • Support land acquisition and origination teams through rapid site assessments and technical due diligence. • Develop and maintain bankable energy production models using PVsyst. • Support project financing and investment decisions through production forecasting and technical analysis. • Support utility interconnection applications and technical reviews. • Provide technical support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work to ensure that all assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. • Make day-to-day decisions during project execution and manage project risks. • Coordinate internal resources as well as vendors for the successful execution of projects. • Develop and updates cost estimates and budgets, schedules, identify issues and risks, develop work breakdown structure, etc. for assigned work. • Provide status reports to management as requested on assigned projects. • Support the development of Project Management Training (across teams). • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to track and monitor project progress. • Support the development of tools/templates for cost estimating and budgeting, scheduling, work breakdown structure, etc. as requested. • Ensure project documentation is well managed, organized, and stored during the entire project life cycle. • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure the safety, integrity, and reliability of dam infrastructure • Lead a team of engineers in the implementation and continuous improvement of the Owners Dam Safety Program • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures • Ensure regulatory compliance to safeguard assets and surrounding communities • Stay abreast of evolving regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices related to dam safety and environmental compliance • Ensure all dam operations and maintenance activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and permit conditions • Develop and oversee the implementation of dam safety policies, procedures, and guidelines • Participate in FERC dam safety inspections and Comprehensive Assessments • Oversee the dam safety surveillance and performance monitoring program • Assist Operations staff in the understanding and application of safe operational practices • Support development of dam safety risk rankings for capital planning and asset management • Ensure appropriate dam safety oversight during design, construction, and commissioning of dam rehabilitation and modification projects • Champion a strong company-wide culture of dam and public safety through leadership engagement and training. • Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical support to the Civil Engineering team.
• Develop and execute market participation, trading, and hedging strategies for a portfolio of hydropower assets across ISO/RTO and bilateral power markets. • Lead short-term and forward power trading activities. • Manage exposure to power price volatility, congestion, basis risk, counterparty risk, and hydrology-driven variability. • Oversee energy scheduling, bidding and offering strategies, settlements, confirmations, and reconciliation processes. • Negotiate, execute, and manage power sales agreements, hedges, and structured products. • Coordinate closely with plant operations to optimize dispatch, outage planning, and water value across hydropower facilities. • Integrate hydrology forecasts, reservoir constraints, and operational flexibility into market and bilateral trading decisions. • Monitor portfolio performance versus budget, forecast, and market benchmarks; recommend and implement corrective actions. • Monitor ISO/RTO market rules, pricing dynamics, congestion patterns, bilateral market conditions, and regulatory developments. • Analyze historical and forward price curves to identify commercial opportunities and risk mitigation strategies. • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate trading strategies, asset performance, bilateral contracts, and commercial transactions. • Support development, acquisition, and financing activities through market, pricing, and revenue diligence. • Serve as a primary commercial interface with ISOs/RTOs, bilateral counterparties, utilities, brokers, and trading partners. • Provide clear market insights, performance reporting, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. • Lead continuous improvement of forecasting, analytics, and data processes supporting trading and energy management. • Provide guidance, oversight, or mentorship to supporting staff or cross-functional teams, as applicable.
• Associate Directors of Civil Engineering (AD) report to the Director of Civil Engineering and Chief Dam Safety Engineer (CDSE). • The AD’s are primarily responsible for day-to-day execution of the Owner’s Dam Safety Program (ODSP) within an assigned region with support from a team of dam safety engineers that the AD supervises. • This includes day-to-day interactions with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Division of Dam Safety and Inspections (FERC), engineering consultants, and construction contractors in addition to hydroelectric plant operations teams and other Eagle Creek personnel. • Collaborate with the Chief Dam Safety Engineer to develop and implement an effective ODSP. • Serve as a primary point of contact responsible for day-to-day communications with engineering consultants, construction contractors, the FERC regional offices, and a wide range of Eagle Creek personnel. • Lead DSEs (Dam Safety Engineers) in the development and maintenance of Dam Safety Surveillance and Monitoring Plans, Supporting Technical Information Documents, Dam Safety Surveillance and Monitoring Reports, and other technical reports as required. • Participate in and/or designate DSEs to participate in FERC dam safety inspections, Part 12 inspections, PFMAs, and Risk Analysis workshops as well as oversee the review of all associated reports and STIDs for technical content and quality. • Lead the dam safety surveillance monitoring program for an assigned area and collaborate with DSEs to review performance monitoring data and develop DSSMRs. • Lead the implementation of processes and procedures for the inspection, maintenance, and testing of flow control equipment. • Assist and train Operations staff in the understanding and application of safe operational practices to preserve dam and public safety, including assistance as needed with inflow and outflow forecasting. • Respond to incidents at dams by ensuring all necessary actions are taken to prevent or mitigate loss of life or property from a potential dam failure. • Collaborate with DSEs, project consultants, the Operations Team, and state and federal regulatory representatives to ensure that all dam safety engineering commitments are completed on time and that deliverables are of high quality. • Lead DSEs in the execution of projects to ensure that all dam and civil construction projects are completed on time and in accordance with commonly accepted dam safety practices for continued safe operation. • Collaborate with external auditors and the CDSE to conduct periodic external and internal ODSP reviews. • Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide dam safety training programs to create and maintain a company-wide culture focused on dam safety as a top priority. • Lead the assigned DSEs in information management to verify and ensure appropriate maintenance and completeness of dam safety files, records, and documents. Including applicable dam safety documentation of newly acquired projects. • Serve as a driver of continuous improvement of the Dam and Public Safety Program.
• Develop Dam Safety Surveillance and Monitoring Plans, Supporting Technical Information Documents, Dam Safety Surveillance and Monitoring Reports and other technical reports as required. • Participate in dam safety inspections and oversees surveillance and monitoring activities including but not limited to detailed gate inspections, penstock inspections, bathymetry surveys, topographic surveys, monument surveys, and dive inspections. • Participate in Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) annual inspections, Part 12 Periodic Inspections and Comprehensive Assessments, Potential Failure Modes Analysis, and Risk Analysis. • Review surveillance and monitoring data in a timely fashion and follow up as necessary to address potential and/or real time issues and ensure the safety of dams. • Assist in planning and oversight of small civil construction projects to ensure the design intent is met and the project is constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications. • Conduct engineering analyses and develop designs for minor repair and remediation projects. • Coordinate and participate in meetings, calls, and project inspections with the FERC and other regulatory agencies to ensure regulatory compliance. • Assist with periodic dam safety training for Operations Staff. • Review Public Safety Plans and Emergency Action Plans and support these activities as required. • Respond to and assist operations personnel with dam safety issues and/or emergencies at projects. • Assist with program enhancement projects to help drive continuous improvement.
