Director Cloud Security – AI Engineering

BMO U.S.

• Manage and provide guidance to the team on the development of highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud data platforms • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI/ML platforms • Drive the enablement of self-service data and AI capabilities • Enhance the capacity of the Cloud Data and AI Engineering team through hiring and training • Create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service and teamwork • Oversee the day-to-day work of the Cloud Data and AI Engineering team • Develop long- and short-term work plans to meet enterprise Cloud and Data goals • Provide consistent collaborative leadership with senior executives • Drive adherence to Agile methodologies

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in a technical data engineering or AI/ML platform role in a large enterprise environment
  • Deep expertise in cloud data platform architecture
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML platform engineering
  • Hands-on experience with modern data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake
  • Experience with ML/AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubeflow
  • Solid understanding of data visualization and analytics platforms
  • Experience leading development and support of enterprise data and AI capabilities and platforms
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Native Architecture
  • Solid knowledge of Cloud Computing, data security, data governance
  • Strong technical leadership skills
  • Advanced communication skills for various audiences
  • Organizational and strategic management skills
  • Relevant certifications preferred (AWS/Azure/GCP Data or ML)
