Role Description Myriad Genetics is seeking a Sr. Manager, Clinical Interfaces & EMR with deep expertise in Epic Aura and Epic interoperability workflows to lead a team responsible for the implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise EMR integrations. This role will lead a blended team of approximately 10 full-time employees and contractors supporting Epic-focused integrations, interoperability initiatives, operational support, and workflow optimization across health systems and strategic enterprise partners. This leader will serve as a key operational and technical partner across Clinical Interfaces, Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Customer Success organizations to ensure scalable, high-quality integration delivery and support. Reports to: Sr. Director, Clinical Interfaces & EMR Responsibilities - Team Leadership & Operational Management - Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 Clinical Interface professionals, including both FTEs and contractors. - Establish clear ownership, accountability, priorities, and performance expectations across the team. - Drive operational maturity, scalable processes, and continuous improvement across EMR integration workflows. - Support resource planning, workload balancing, and prioritization across enterprise integration initiatives. - Mentor team members and support professional growth, technical development, and cross-functional collaboration. - Epic Aura & EMR Integration Leadership - Lead implementation and support activities related to Epic Aura integrations and Epic interoperability workflows. - Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic integration capabilities, including ordering, results delivery, and workflow optimization. - Support large health system Epic integrations, including coordination across customer technical, operational, and clinical stakeholders. - Partner with Interface Engineering and Architecture teams on HL7, FHIR, API, and interoperability strategy. - Integration Delivery & Support - Oversee the full lifecycle of EMR integration projects including requirements gathering, workflow analysis, design, testing, go-live coordination, and post-production support. - Ensure integration quality, operational stability, and timely resolution of support issues. - Drive standardization of validation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation practices across the team. - Improve integration turnaround time, scalability, and customer experience metrics. - Cross-Functional Leadership - Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Commercial, Customer Success, Legal, Compliance, and Clinical stakeholders. - Support enterprise product launches and ensure EMR readiness for new workflows and diagnostic offerings. - Participate in strategic planning for EMR growth initiatives and Epic roadmap expansion. - Serve as a liaison between internal teams and customer technical leadership. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare interoperability or EMR integration initiatives. - 3+ years of leadership or people management experience. - Direct experience with Epic interoperability workflows and enterprise Epic integrations. - Experience with HL7 interfaces, EMR workflows, interoperability concepts, and healthcare integration lifecycle management. - Strong understanding of clinical workflows, provider/lab interactions, and healthcare operational processes. - Excellent communication, organizational, and project leadership skills. - US Citizen or Green Card holder. Preferred Qualifications - Epic certifications such as Bridges, Care Everywhere, Beaker, or Data Courier. - Experience with Epic Aura workflows and specialty diagnostics integrations. - Experience with FHIR APIs, Mirth, Jira, Confluence, AWS, or related healthcare integration technologies. - Experience supporting genomics, laboratory systems, or precision medicine workflows. - Experience working with large health systems, IDNs, or enterprise healthcare organizations. - Experience managing blended teams including contractors and offshore/vendor resources. • Independently source and schedule resources for Professional Services projects based on the project timeline and technical skill set required for each role. • Strategically manage the master calendar to maximize utilization, revenue, customer satisfaction, and enablement opportunities. • Respond to scheduling change requests from Project Managers and rebalance the calendar with each iteration. • Interpret SOWs and supplemental information from a pre-sales engineer to determine resource requirements. • Serve as the administrator for the central scheduling tool. • Identify opportunities that need to be outsourced and work with Partner Enablement to source and schedule a subcontractor. • Author Work Orders for sub-contractor resources. • Conduct weekly demand and capacity planning exercises and advise business leaders on the type of resources that need to be onboarded to meet demand. • Provide regular utilization and delivery forecasts to business leaders within the organization. • Understand the roles and domain skills for the technical practice you represent. • Update and maintain the engineering skills base.

• Define and execute the long-term roadmap for the Critical Response team, including tooling upgrades, program gap remediation and AI integrations. • Lead continued development of current workflows and safety programs to improve case process accuracy and reduce operational redundancy. • Partner with Customer Experience, Trust & Safety leadership, Legal and Product teams to build more effective escalation and safety frameworks for the company to reduce risks. • Ensure institutional knowledge is documented and scalable across all workflows. • Audit and streamline existing workflows to reduce administrative burden and expand capacity for strategic, proactive work. • Implement a clear framework for team’s operation capacity while balancing reactive case-handling and dedicated project deliveries. • Be able to use and interpret data to surface operational insights that drive process improvements and better safety outcomes. • Mentoring the team. Build a high-trust, high-engagement team culture. Establish clear career paths and growth opportunities for all members in the team. • Ensuring all team members have clear ownership, development opportunities, and a sense of purpose. • Owns team performance across urgent and routine Salesforce cases and safety alert systems. • Ensure operational coverage; proactively manage scheduling, escalations, and coverage gaps. • Serves as one of the primary escalation points for critical incidents.
