Role Description The VHA HEFP Special Engineering Program (SEP) manages nationally prioritized, high-impact capital initiatives, including the Electronic Health Record Modernization, Facility Recapitalization, and Targeted Infrastructure programs. SEP establishes national priorities to ensure consistent, enterprise-wide alignment and execution. Gritter Francona is looking for a Contract Manager to support this potential project. - Serves as the Contractor’s primary contract manager. - Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. - Manages on-boarding and coordinating orientation of contract staff. - Works with COR, technical representative, and CO for any contract issues. - Responsible for overall contract performance, leading senior management briefings, and should be a recognized expert in program management. - Coordinates identification of risk and variance to HEFP Program Engineers for assessment, delegation and/or resolution. - Tracks and manages project execution; identifies tasks that are supposed to be done and milestones met, following up with HEFP Program Engineers if there are issues that can’t be resolved. - Oversees contract performance. Identifies opportunities for program improvement and assigns team members to support initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant medical, engineering or science discipline and minimum 20 years of experience. - Master of Science degree and 15 years of program management experience. - 5 years VA program management experience and 15 years' experience. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP). Role Description Myriad Genetics is seeking a Sr. Manager, Clinical Interfaces & EMR with deep expertise in Epic Aura and Epic interoperability workflows to lead a team responsible for the implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise EMR integrations. This role will lead a blended team of approximately 10 full-time employees and contractors supporting Epic-focused integrations, interoperability initiatives, operational support, and workflow optimization across health systems and strategic enterprise partners. This leader will serve as a key operational and technical partner across Clinical Interfaces, Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Customer Success organizations to ensure scalable, high-quality integration delivery and support. Reports to: Sr. Director, Clinical Interfaces & EMR Responsibilities - Team Leadership & Operational Management - Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 Clinical Interface professionals, including both FTEs and contractors. - Establish clear ownership, accountability, priorities, and performance expectations across the team. - Drive operational maturity, scalable processes, and continuous improvement across EMR integration workflows. - Support resource planning, workload balancing, and prioritization across enterprise integration initiatives. - Mentor team members and support professional growth, technical development, and cross-functional collaboration. - Epic Aura & EMR Integration Leadership - Lead implementation and support activities related to Epic Aura integrations and Epic interoperability workflows. - Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic integration capabilities, including ordering, results delivery, and workflow optimization. - Support large health system Epic integrations, including coordination across customer technical, operational, and clinical stakeholders. - Partner with Interface Engineering and Architecture teams on HL7, FHIR, API, and interoperability strategy. - Integration Delivery & Support - Oversee the full lifecycle of EMR integration projects including requirements gathering, workflow analysis, design, testing, go-live coordination, and post-production support. - Ensure integration quality, operational stability, and timely resolution of support issues. - Drive standardization of validation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation practices across the team. - Improve integration turnaround time, scalability, and customer experience metrics. - Cross-Functional Leadership - Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Commercial, Customer Success, Legal, Compliance, and Clinical stakeholders. - Support enterprise product launches and ensure EMR readiness for new workflows and diagnostic offerings. - Participate in strategic planning for EMR growth initiatives and Epic roadmap expansion. - Serve as a liaison between internal teams and customer technical leadership. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare interoperability or EMR integration initiatives. - 3+ years of leadership or people management experience. - Direct experience with Epic interoperability workflows and enterprise Epic integrations. - Experience with HL7 interfaces, EMR workflows, interoperability concepts, and healthcare integration lifecycle management. - Strong understanding of clinical workflows, provider/lab interactions, and healthcare operational processes. - Excellent communication, organizational, and project leadership skills. - US Citizen or Green Card holder. Preferred Qualifications - Epic certifications such as Bridges, Care Everywhere, Beaker, or Data Courier. - Experience with Epic Aura workflows and specialty diagnostics integrations. - Experience with FHIR APIs, Mirth, Jira, Confluence, AWS, or related healthcare integration technologies. - Experience supporting genomics, laboratory systems, or precision medicine workflows. - Experience working with large health systems, IDNs, or enterprise healthcare organizations. - Experience managing blended teams including contractors and offshore/vendor resources.
