Internal Quality Auditor – Aerospace

• Plan and coordinate audits, collaborating with site leadership and functional teams to define scope, objectives, and timelines. • Execute internal audits in accordance with AS9100, AS9110, and AS9120 standards, serving as Lead or Team Auditor depending on audit complexity. • Document and report audit findings, collecting evidence, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring all results are actionable and compliant with QMS requirements. • Manage corrective actions, issuing CARs, monitoring progress, supporting root cause analysis, and verifying the effectiveness of improvements. • Support sites and stakeholders, providing guidance on QMS compliance, audit readiness, and opportunities for process improvement. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging audit findings to enhance quality performance and organizational efficiency. • Travel to internal company sites and regional sites will be required (up to 65%). • Work occasional extended hours to meet audit requirements.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or auditing within aerospace or manufacturing.
- Certified or trained as an Internal or Lead Auditor for AS9100, AS9110, or AS9120.
- Prior experience with ISO 9001 and AS91XX standards.
- Prior experience using ETQ or other electronic quality management systems.
