Role Description Airbnb is seeking a Lead, Advanced Analytics, Services to support the growth of Airbnb’s new Services business. This role is pivotal in analyzing both the supply and demand for our new businesses across countries, travel corridors, and customer segments to better understand the drivers of key business, financial, and customer metrics. The individual in this role will focus on in-depth data analysis, metric definition, benchmark creation, experimentation, and synthesis to high-level insights for prioritization. - Conduct advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across key geographical markets. - Collaborate closely with the new business teams, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. - Analyze broad data to understand the key drivers of bookings, attach rate, revenue, profitability, occupancy, rebooking rate, churn, and other key metrics. - Define new metrics and identify leading indicators of key business outcomes. - Build dashboards to track key performance metrics across markets and customer segments to establish benchmarks. - Conduct A/B tests to improve business performance and maximize incrementality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science, to align strategies and leverage synergies. Qualifications - A quantitative undergraduate degree with a strong preference for candidates holding an MBA or equivalent advanced degree. - 8+ years of industry experience in a Data Science, Analytics, or equivalent role. - Prior experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting. - Deep technical expertise in data analysis, experimentation and causal inference. - Exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments. - Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner. - Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions. - An agile, growth-minded approach, demonstrated through a history of driving projects from ideation to impact. Requirements - This position is US - Remote Eligible. - The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. - You must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity. Benefits - Base pay range: $164,000 — $191,000 USD. - This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
