Senior Software Engineer

• Design and develop scalable software applications and systems • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products • Mentor and provide technical guidance to peers and less experienced engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and contributing to team growth. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to systems and processes • Leverage AI-assisted development tools and practices to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and document decision-making • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a demonstrated track record of building and shipping challenging software projects.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Demonstrated experience delivering software to production environments, including ownership of features from design through deployment.
- Experience in developing large-scale, high-performance applications.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Expert-level proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, Java, GoLang).
- Strong proficiency in relational databases.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing automated testing strategies.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development tools.
- Hands-on experience using and integrating AI-based tools and workflows into the development lifecycle, understanding their capabilities, limitations, and establishing appropriate guardrails against inherent risks.
- Must reside in one of these states: CA, CT, FL, IL, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, NC, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA
