XBRL Financial Consultant

• Prepare XBRL formatted financial documents for regulatory filings and stakeholder communications • Provide unmatched expertise and market knowledge to clients while staying ahead of changing regulations • Conduct training and support sessions for client teams who utilize proprietary software solution • Provide guidance and technical consultation to clients on XBRL mapping and tagging of their financial disclosures using US GAAP, IFRS or ESMA taxonomies • Produce and prepare XBRL-formatted financial statements for client companies • Manage workflow, communication, and timelines on multiple, concurrent projects • Collaborate with other professional service teams to ensure success of the client project • Continuous learning and keeping up to date with regulatory changes affecting financial disclosure requirements • Other interesting and ad hoc assignments as required
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of minimum accounting experience; preferably in a financial reporting or auditing role
- 5+ years preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
- In-depth understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting concepts
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial disclosures across a breadth of industries
- Experience and aptitude with technical software applications; experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, preferred
- Awareness of XBRL software for tagging and viewing financial information preferred, but not required

Role Description In this role you will be responsible for risk-based underwriting of new and/or existing accounts.
