Addepar
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and technical excellence. • Work in partnership with global product managers and technical partners to translate business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps, ensuring predictable delivery of complex data workflows. • Drive the team’s output by staying active in the codebase—writing production code and performing deep code reviews. • Actively coach and mentor junior and senior engineers, helping them navigate technical challenges and advance their professional careers. • Conceive of, develop, and deliver novel solutions within a sophisticated and rich domain area. Learn and develop your career within a particularly challenging and growing part of the financial industry • Build both within the primary Navigator application and in other parts of Addepar's product ecosystem, bridging shared concerns for our clients across multiple product areas, with an investor-focused viewpoint.
Job Requirements
- Extensive professional software engineering experience building web applications
- Previous formal people management or successful team leadership experience
- A proven ability to collaborate with and mentor other engineers
- A strong, hands-on technical approach. A desire to demonstrate your technical expertise, and to focus and improve the abilities of those on your team.
- Ability to drive delivery within predefined goal-setting and execution frameworks such as objectives & key results. We use well-defined and structured methodologies to deliver impactful business outcomes.
- Experience in our engineering stack is preferred: React & Ember frontends with Python & Java backends.
- Exceptional at bridging the gap between technical details and business outcomes, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations across different regions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
