Role Description We are looking for an engineer with a strong platform mindset who can make development more consistent, reliable, and scalable across many product teams and applications. You will help define golden paths, improve shared frontend foundations, strengthen standards such as accessibility and verification, and support product teams through tooling, migrations, governance, and automation. The primary focus is on a broader frontend platform impact and making the codebase easier to change, including with AI-assisted workflows. Important: the position is available only under a standard contract of employment with 80% of tax deductible cost. • Own positioning & messaging for Temporal’s platform infrastructure capabilities - including performance, scalability, connectivity, replication, compute, and more. • Develop clear value propositions for how platform engineers and architects should consider running Temporal at massive scale. • Define and evolve the Temporal Nexus storytelling and shape how Nexus fits into the broader platform and architecture narratives. • Plan and execute product launches, announcements, and GTM campaigns related to Temporal's platform infrastructure capabilities. • Create high-quality external content including web pages, blogs, solution briefs, case studies, decks, and sales enablement materials. • Enable sales and solutions teams with messaging, pitch narratives, and objection handling. • Partner with product and engineering teams to influence product strategy based on market, customer and competitive insights.

• Design, build, and improve secure Power Apps to help replace legacy tracking systems. • Help simplify workflows by setting up automated processes, custom connectors, and data links between different systems and databases. • Use standard application tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub to manage version control, track changes, and deploy software updates smoothly. • Work closely with architects, analysts, and agency staff to turn everyday business requirements into clear development steps and useful documentation.

• Designing, implementing, and managing a secure, scalable, and resilient Azure infrastructure with a strong focus on Kubernetes (AKS). • Building and maintaining automation frameworks to enable efficient deployment, monitoring, and management of platform services. • Partnering with software engineering teams to embed CI/CD-friendly design patterns and support continuous integration and deployment practices. • Ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance across all platform services. • Embedding security best practices throughout the infrastructure to mitigate risks and protect services. • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement through documentation and operational excellence.
