Configuration and Change Manager

• Responsible for managing configuration and changes in existing systems (client business solutions) and in development projects for new solutions, including creating baselines, verifying naming conventions and the organization of configuration items in the Configuration Management tool, as well as configuration and change control of delivered products. • Understand configuration management principles. • Pay close attention to all details of system/application configuration. • Ensure developers comply with configuration management policies and procedures. • Assist in maintaining current version control (for use in version rollback scenarios). • Assist the team responsible for submitting Change Requests by providing the elements that will be used during deployment. • Perform project monitoring and control. • Maintain the Configuration Management Plan. • Provide system installation in the production environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or completion of any higher education degree accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.
  • DESIRABLE CERTIFICATIONS: ITIL v4, DevOps Foundation, CMII (Configuration Management).
  • Desired experience: 3 years working in configuration management, change control and governance of IT environments, using version control tools, continuous integration and performing technical audits in projects.
  • MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE: Software Configuration Management (SCM): concepts, processes and standards (CMDB, baseline, change control); Tools: - Distributed: Git, Subversion, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, SonarQube, ClearCase UCM - Mainframe: CA Endevor, JCL, SDSF; Technical change management and version control; Continuous integration and release pipelines; Build and environment control and traceability; Infrastructure versioning and deploy automation (conceptual knowledge desirable); Monitoring and generation of operational metrics for the CM process.
