Job Description

Senior QA Engineer

ASSA ABLOY

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for SiteOwl’s B2B SaaS application across web, iOS, Android, and REST APIs. • Build and maintain a robust suite of automated tests, specifically leveraging our Playwright automated testing setup. • Perform thorough manual testing to ensure a high-quality user experience, particularly for complex offline mobile use cases. • Lead and manage auxiliary QA resources to ensure broad coverage and rapid feedback. • Work with our product team to help design and specify features our customers love, ensuring testability from the start. • Collaborate with engineering leadership to integrate quality benchmarks into the development process and CI/CD pipelines. • Utilize AI development tools to enhance testing efficiency and codebase coverage.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or test engineering
  • BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Proven expertise in test automation
  • Playwright experience a plus
  • Strong experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms
  • Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs and understanding back-end architectures
  • A solid understanding of debugging HTML, JS and HTTP using browser development tools
  • Experience managing or coordinating with external QA teams
  • Experience with common software development tools and processes
  • Experience with agentic AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code to assist in test generation and debugging
  • An eye for quality UI/UX and a passion for delivering a bug-free experience to customers.
