Junior QA Analyst /Tester

Role Description Looking for a Junior QA Analyst/Tester with 5+ years of experience in functional, automation, API, and database testing. Strong hands-on expertise with Katalon, Postman, REST APIs, and automated test execution. - Develop, document, and execute functional and automation test cases - Perform API testing for RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices using Postman - Create and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon and other automation tools - Identify, document, track, and report software defects - Execute database testing and validate backend data integrity - Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues - Prepare test reports and maintain QA documentation - Support CI/CD testing processes and continuous quality improvements Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in Software QA and Testing - Strong experience in Functional/Manual Testing and Automation Testing - Hands-on experience with Katalon, Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools - Expertise in API testing using Postman or SoapUI - Experience with Database Testing and SQL queries - Good understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and defect lifecycle - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment Requirements - Minimum experience - 3 Years - Contract - 6 months - Payscale - $32/hour on 1099 - Candidates only from California to apply - IMMEDIATE HIRING @ California USA - Remote role
