Senior Software Test Engineer – Product R&D, Innovation & Ownership
CSG
• Compose complex test plans, execute tests, document the results and understand the output. • Use the latest tools like Karate (API), Cypress (UI) and k6 (Performance) to accelerate our test cycles. • Work to connect our automation tools into our CI/CD pipelines. • Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, reviews, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, etc. • Be part of a multi-skill squad with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers and other Software Testers. • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and trends to keep us at the forefront of innovation and productivity. • Lead small groups of testers as per project needs.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Software Test Engineer experience or someone with software development experience who is looking for a test engineering role.
- Knowledge in software testing; research, design, methodologies/processes, implementation and documentation.
- Experience with Test Automation: Writing and maintaining automation test scripts.
- Highly effective at communicating in English, experience collaborating across multiple teams and a strong comprehension of written/verbal material.
- It's a plus if you are familiar with: Cypress, Cucumber & Karate DSL and have experience in one or more programming languages (preferably JavaScript/NodeJs).
