What the day will look like - Accountable for routine support activities to brokers and senior brokers with defined deadlines, related to renewal strategy documents, proposals, submissions along with data analysis for the placement of insurance solutions. - May facilitate and/or participate in client/broker strategy meetings. - May send requests for quotations to the insurance carriers with opportunities to negotiate programs. - Manages daily work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments. - Assists with the processing of policy and related documents. - Provides support to the account management process, when appropriate - With minimal mentorship and supervision, identifies and analyzes client exposures and determines which markets to utilize, ensuring detailed evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace. How this opportunity is different The Financial Services Group (FSG) is Aon’s dedicated management liability insurance specialty practice with deep experience in directors’ and officers’ (D&O), employment practices liability (EPL), fiduciary, crime, and kidnap, ransom, and extortion (KRE). FSG works closely with Aon’s Cyber Solutions Cyber Broking team to deliver seamless advice and insurance placement across key financial lines, including errors and omissions (E&O). The FSG team comprises insurance professionals dedicated to serving the needs of our clients. Skills and experience that will lead to success Required Experience: - 1+ years of experience within finance or insurance is preferred. - Ability to work independently. - Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty license within 120 days of hire (Aon pays for training material and license). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook - Must be detail oriented. - Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills - Capable of prioritizing multiple projects/deadlines - Ability to prioritize workload and timelines efficiently and effectively. - Possesses sophisticated analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and abilities. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of proven experience. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Massachusetts. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. Role Description We are seeking a highly organised Student Support Services Officer to provide administrative and operational support in a fast-paced education environment. This role is primarily focused on coordinating student-related processes, including: - Attendance monitoring - Practical placement arrangements - Ongoing student support through written communication The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of using sound judgment to troubleshoot issues and escalate concerns when needed.
