The Events & Sponsorships Manager collaborates cross-functionally, and ensures events and partnerships reflect the company's brand, values, and strategic objectives. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Event Planning & Execution Plan, coordinate, and execute EDPR NA-owned and sponsored events, including industry conferences, summits, roundtables, panels, networking receptions, and project milestones (groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings), and supports internal meetings. Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, catering, audiovisual production, signage, branded materials, and travel arrangements. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and post-event summaries to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. Partner cross-functionally with development, government affairs, communications, brand, commercial, operations, and executive teams to align event objectives, messaging, and stakeholder engagement goals for events. Travel as needed to support event execution, oversee on-site logistics, and represent EDPR NA in the field. Sponsorship & Industry Engagement Management Evaluate, negotiate, and manage sponsorship opportunities across key markets, including renewable energy conferences, trade associations, economic development organizations, and community initiatives. Ensure all sponsorships align with EDPR NA's brand standards, development priorities, stakeholder engagement goals, and compliance standards. Oversee sponsorship deliverables and activation plans to maximize visibility, relationship-building, and return on investment. Role Description Under the supervision of the Senior Director, External Relations Event Planning & Logistics, the Events Coordinator is a key member of the events team, supporting the planning, development and implementation of multiple national events (25+ events per year). This role is essential to the successful execution of BGCA’s national events strategy, helping deliver high-quality experiences that strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and supporters. The Events Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring events run smoothly by managing logistics, budgets, and administrative operations that support the planning and execution of more than 25 events annually. Through strong organization and collaboration, this role helps create impactful events that advance BGCA’s mission and organizational goals.
