Role Description Outsourcing Advantage is on the lookout for a detail‑oriented Commercial Insurance professional to support the issuance of Certificates of Insurance for policy renewals and property refinances. In this role, you will work closely with banks, lenders, and clients to ensure timely and accurate documentation that meets all compliance and underwriting requirements. - Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance for renewals, refinances, and other client or lender requests. - Communicate with banks, lenders, and clients to clarify requirements and ensure accurate documentation. - Review insurance policies to verify coverages, limits, endorsements, and compliance with lender specifications. - Maintain organized records and ensure proper documentation is collected and stored. - Collaborate with internal team members to resolve discrepancies or obtain missing information. - Provide exceptional customer service through clear, professional, and timely communication. Qualifications - Previous experience in insurance, specifically with commercial insurance certificates. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a level of C1 Advanced. - Experience in Commercial Insurance, specifically related to certificates, policy documentation, or compliance. - Strong understanding of insurance terminology, coverages, and documentation requirements. - Excellent organizational skills with a very strong attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Proficient in the Applied Epic System or other insurance management software preferred. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. • As an Examiner for the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation, Captive Insurance Division, your primary responsibilities include examinations and ongoing oversight of Vermont domiciled captive insurance companies. • Utilizing a risk-focused approach, an Examiner will evaluate areas of captive insurance company operations and business practices, including corporate governance, strategy, business plan, IT systems, internal controls, financial reporting and regulatory compliance to ensure that the captive insurance company is able to meet it's obligations to insureds and is compliant with Vermont regulations. • An Examiner also conducts research, participates on various task forces, is assigned special projects, and conducts annual and quarterly surveillance for a portfolio of companies. • An Examiner must be self motivated and possess strong time management, organization, critical thinking and communication skills.
Role Description The PFS Insurance Specialist’s main role is to assist the collections team towards department goals of increasing cash collections and improving reimbursement rates. The PFS Specialist should have the ability to work on any claim, regardless of aging, and must work with both commercial and government payers, and review EOB’s. - Works with collections team to ensure daily productivity and quality standards are met. - Assists with training and coaching to ensure all team members are operating at full potential. - Creates notes on the patients account for auditing and actions taken per the Standard Operating Procedures or as outlined by the team manager. - Works the total patient accounts outstanding A/R including credits and denials to reduce A/R aging buckets per the department’s goals. - Works hand in hand with the other team members to correct errors. - Sends corrected claims and appeals based on payer guidelines in a timely manner. - Other projects as assigned. Qualifications - High school diploma plus some college preferred. - Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, insurance plans, ICD 10 codes. - Must have ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment. - Must understand different payer plans collections process, Xifin knowledge preferred. Requirements - Must have excellent computer skills. - Must understand the different payer plans and basic understanding of A/R. - Must have working knowledge of MS Excel. - 1-2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory preferred, especially genetic billing. - 1-2 years’ experience in working denials.
