Position: Compliance Coordinator Location: Remote or On-site (serving operations across all 50 states and Canada) Reports To: Sr. Manager of Compliance Position Overview The Compliance Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the Compliance team of a dynamic, multi-site veterinary services company. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the Compliance ticketing system, ensuring that routine inquiries are answered promptly and that more complex matters are assigned to the appropriate specialists. The Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of compliance processes across both U.S. and Canadian sites. This position will contribute to the development and maintenance of a best-in-class compliance program, guided by the principles outlined in the Department of Justice (DOJ) sentencing guidelines. The Coordinator will help reinforce the company's commitment to regulatory excellence, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement, striving to meet and exceed industry standards. Key Responsibilities - Monitor and manage the Compliance ticketing system, ensuring timely response and resolution of compliance-related queries. - Answer routine compliance and policy questions and provide general information to staff and management. - Assign complex compliance issues to relevant specialists or team members for further investigation and resolution. - Support the Compliance team with varied administrative tasks, including document management, scheduling, and coordination of compliance-related projects. - Assist in maintaining records and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements across all sites. - Assist with the development, distribution, and tracking of compliance training materials for team members. - Prepare presentations and reports using PowerPoint and other tools as needed. - Help implement and support compliance initiatives that align with DOJ sentencing guidelines and best practices for risk mitigation and program effectiveness. - Conduct periodic audits and reviews of compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Help coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and assist with the preparation of documentation for inspections or investigations. - Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and manuals as directed. - Participate in risk assessments and support corrective action processes as needed. - Track and report metrics related to compliance activities to leadership. - Support internal whistleblower and reporting systems, including confidential intake and follow-up. Qualifications - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments, with the flexibility to adapt priorities and processes as the team and organization matures. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint. - Experience or background in regulatory matters such as OSHA, DEA, and EPA is preferred. - Demonstrated project management skills are a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. - Detail-oriented and capable of handling varied administrative responsibilities. • Provide end-to-end compliance control coverage for business unit product launches, new features, maintenance, and support to implement country product restrictions within the assigned product portfolio. • Engaging with key stakeholders to assess and, where feasible, enable product availability in markets where offerings are currently limited. • Proactively identify business opportunities for the assigned product portfolio, creating documented regulatory analysis and required controls for business expansion. • Generate compliance plans with joint efforts from cross functions to ensure it is managed in accordance with the BU’s objectives, and that best practices are embedded in the products and services. • Work closely with product teams, global compliance teams and local/regional PoCs and MLROs to ensure controls are in place, testing is complete and the business can launch on time and in line with regulatory requirements. • Monitor regulatory changes, assess impact to products and controls, coordinate implementation, and deliver advisory and guidance to relevant business teams as needed. • Build strong and effective relationships across the business to promote a positive image of the Business Compliance Team and efficiently support and deliver work activities. • Track and analyze global regulatory developments affecting product offerings, and communicate clear, actionable guidance to stakeholders.Assist the team with other products, if required, to ensure contingency and global coverage.

• Assist compliance professionals in supporting the Business Compliance team with regulatory and compliance tasks related to new product launches and ongoing product maintenance. • Help maintain compliance documentation and track regulatory requirements and audit findings. • Support coordination with stakeholders to follow up on compliance action plans and ensure timely resolution of issues. • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal reviews and management updates. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Tech, Operations, and Global Compliance to gain practical experience in compliance controls and regulatory processes. • Monitor regulatory developments and assist in assessing their potential impact on Binance products and services.

Role Description Responsible for auditing accounts prior to billing according to coding, regulatory, and payor policy guidelines. Addresses debit and credit charging errors to assure correct final bills. Audits documentation to make sure the chart documentation matches the charges on the patient account. Tracks and analyzes data trends, reporting those trends back to clinical directors and providing additional education to clinical staff where appropriate. Performs daily audits on all Inpatient and Observation accounts. Responsible for quarterly focused audits of areas with suspected or confirmed problems. Qualifications - Certifications: Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) - Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Requirements - Performs daily audits of all Inpatient, Observation, ED and Outpatient Infusion via WQ monitoring, review of department revenue variance, and collaboration with operational areas. - For Observation accounts, auditor is responsible for analyzing number of hours charged and whether all are appropriate according to regulation. - Submits non-billable observation hours needing manual carve out to Revenue Integrity Charge Capture Specialist team for charge resolution. - For Observation accounts, auditor is responsible to add all IV infusion and injection charges according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines. - Responsible for tracking and trending charge anomalies and reporting them back to the appropriate clinical department director. - Responsible for ad hoc training/retraining of clinical staff as needed. - If there is a charge, but no documentation, auditor is responsible to contact the department director or manager to validate charge appropriateness and ensure completion of documentation. - In partnership with Revenue Integrity leadership, plans, coordinates, and conducts audits/internal control evaluations and reviews as scheduled. Presents project results to leadership team. - Maintains knowledge of clinical documentation standards and charge related regulations and standards. Applies knowledge to ensure that charges are accurate and supportable according to payer and regulatory requirements. - Manages large complex projects, investigates and analyzes issues at a high level with strong attention to detail. - Completes and/or attends training and education sessions as assigned by leadership.
