• You assume overall electrical responsibility for our BESS projects. • You are the central point of contact for all electrical matters within the project. • You act as the Lead Electrical Engineer on projects and work closely with the project manager. • You translate complex technical topics into clear project structures, decisions and actions. • You coordinate between internal departments, external partners, engineering offices and suppliers. • You review and approve technical planning and documentation (schematics, layouts, calculations, protection concepts). • You coordinate electricians, specialist trades and system integrators and ensure technical quality.
Job Requirements
- A technical degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering, forms your foundation.
- Several years of experience (5+ years) in implementing electrical projects in the energy sector (e.g., BESS, renewable energy, grid connections or infrastructure projects).
- A good understanding of high-voltage systems, grid connections and battery storage systems.
- Ability to technically lead and coordinate external engineering firms, suppliers or EPC contractors.
- Independently assess and approve technical documentation and assume responsibility.
- Regular on-site presence in Munich for coordination and project work.
- Fluent German and very good English.
