Role Description Boutique litigation firm seeks to hire a litigation attorney, with two or more years of experience, to join their team. This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, but can be fully remote for California licensed attorneys. - Attend court hearings - Conduct legal research - Draft motions - Take and defend depositions - Draft and respond to discovery - Perform various tasks associated with litigation and trial work Qualifications - Law Degree and Admission to the California Bar - Experience conducting legal research and drafting motions - Experience taking and defending depositions - Familiarity with state and federal court procedures - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Ability to work independently and remotely - Preferred to be able to attend in person court hearings, site inspections, etc. in the San Francisco Bay Area

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Trusts and Estates senior associate or lateral partner. Be part of our burgeoning practice, implementing the most sophisticated planning techniques on behalf of clients from Silicon Valley and beyond. No book of business is required – this role is designed for an experienced attorney prepared to inherit and manage client relationships being transitioned from senior attorneys as they wind down their practices in the coming years. Qualifications - Experienced estate planning lawyer with broad experience including complex estate, tax and wealth planning. - 2019 law school graduates (or more experienced) applicants only. - Primary areas include estate and tax planning for high net worth individuals and families, estate administration, income tax, transfer tax and charitable planning, as well as pass-through entity (LLCs and LPs) and business succession planning. - No book of business required. Requirements - Superior communication, drafting, writing, research and analytical skills. - Ability to work both independently and as a team member. - Experience and expertise in Federal and California tax law required. - Licensed in California. - Familiarity and experience with San Francisco Bay Area important but not required. - Solid work ethic and ambitious in a team context. - Problem-solving manner, ability to work with a variety of personalities and under pressure. - Team oriented, including experience working in groups (with lawyers, paralegals, as well as clients). - Client service orientation and high touch responsiveness expected. - Financial background pertinent to client base and transactions necessary. - Proficiency with technology – ideally, self-sufficient in generation of routine work product.
