Cedarville University seeks Computer Science and Cyber Operations adjuncts in our School of Engineering and Computer Science. Positions are primarily residential. Consideration may be given to online adjuncts. If you are interested in serving with us, please consider completing an employment application. - Teaching courses in adherence to the course objectives, syllabus, and content developed by the School. - Providing timely and constructive feedback to students. - Motivating and assisting students in completion of course learning objectives. - Maintaining academic credentials and expertise in the discipline to be taught. - Adhering to University instructional standards. Adjuncts may be utilized on a temporary, part-time basis to provide instruction during the academic year as instructional needs arise. These temporary adjunct positions are subject to Cedarville University policies, verification of credentials, and other information required by law, including the successful completion of a background check. These positions are subject to budget approval. These positions are primarily located in Cedarville, Ohio. Some positions may be available for remote work in certain U.S. states with the exclusion of CA, HI, and D.C. Qualifications - Ph.D. or Masters with experience in the field. - Demonstrable expertise (e.g., experience, research, publication) in the applicable discipline. - Documented successful teaching experience. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Competency in online delivery systems, with preference given to prior experience with Canvas. - Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian. - Applicants must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant, and General Work Place Standards. • Troubleshoot server and network hardware including fibreoptic cables, optics, and hardware components • Manage circuit move, add, change and disconnection orders (MACDs) life cycle. • Directly execute or manage local vendor technicians for servers, circuits and maintenance troubleshooting. • Facilitate physical layer installation of server and network cabling according to cabling matrices. • Physical server and circuit troubleshooting and fault analysis. • Provide ongoing support of production environment and coordinate with vendors, system owners, and other operations teams in order to resolve any issues. • Responsible for coordinating and tracking requests/orders and providing weekly reports. • Post documentation on each implementation. • Participate in On-Call Rotation for Ad-Hoc troubleshooting between internal teams and external providers • Assist with other regional works during business hours for maintenance related works • Inventory Database Improvement Strategy in terms of maintaining Circuit and Spares Inventory database. • Create plan for healthy amount of spares at each site/warehouse and trigger request for additional spares when it reaches certain threshold • Raise Site and Vendor Remote Hands to perform site audits when needed. • Update CDP/Internal documents when requested and perform ad-hoc tasks when required. • Have ticketing system for tracking all requests (JIRA) • Work with SCM, equipment vendors, and data centers to manage delivery dates and time windows. • Process Improvement Support Vendor Support Initial POC for all Vendor Queries relating to interconnection, troubleshooting • Create Colocation Inbound/Outbound Shipments and track Deliveries when asked • Update internal documentation for all Internet Provider contact and circuit details • Schedule onsite technicians and provide site access requests for all ad-hoc/scheduled activities. • Submit Vendor Remote Hands Requests to support physical works on site • Perform regular audits for all server, circuits, spares inventory

Role Description The Tutor and Course Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the provision of professional tutoring services to MedView students and taking ownership of MedView courses to ensure successful delivery.
